Our story
From single-family homes to multi-unit builds
Xcel Plumbing & Heating, Inc. traces its roots back to 1998, when it was founded by Frank Dunn. Frank’s original vision was to channel his passion for helping homeowners and businesses into comprehensive plumbing installations for new single-family homes.
As the years unfolded, Xcel grew, adding heating, ventilation, and air conditioning installations. Today, Xcel offers a diverse range of plumbing and HVAC work with a concentration on new construction, extending beyond single-family homes to multi-family residences, offices, and commercial projects.
With a dedicated team of over 50 employees, estimators, installers, and service technicians, Xcel is synonymous with quality service from the initial estimate to the final installation. Xcel is also certified through the New England Water Works Association (NEWWA) to install and certify backflow preventers.
Despite our growth, Frank Dunn remains steadfast in preserving the small-company feel. Many team members have been part of the Xcel family for over a decade, with multiple generations of plumbers working side by side.
